Longchamp hosts Sunday’s French racing

It’s an excellent card on paper and looks to have plenty of interest over different categories.

Starting off we have a good look at the 3yo fillies in the Prix Saint Alary over 2000m with 11 to run.  There are two unbeaten in two fillies here that looks very classy – the Aga Khan’s Siyarafina from Alain d Royer-Dupré’s yard with Soumillon riding – they are on 2.0 and Fount from Andre Fabre’s yard with P-C Boudot on board and a 4.50 expected price.  Carlos Laffon-Parias has Platana here who has more races under her girth and could be a good go on 5.0, and the English raider is Simon Crisford’s Imperial Charm on 8.0 with Atzeni on board.

The Prix d’Ispahan is for 4+ over 1850m and this year’s edition has 9 runners.  Pascal Bary’s Study of Man on 3.50 will try to hold off the challenge of Godolphin’s Appleby-Doyle Wild Illusion on 4.00.  Head’s With You is on 5.00.

The Vicomtesse Vigier is G2 over 3000m and has the first two in the longer Prix Cadran here in Call The Wind who is on 3.00 and Holdthasisgreen on 4.50.  Pia Brandt’s Called To The Bar should enjoy the trip and is on 6.00
