Champion jockey turned trainer Michael Roberts was in two minds as to whether he should run his star galloper See It Again in the G1 Durban July (2200m) at Greyville earlier this month seeing that his charge would carry top weight for a three-year-old.
Three-year-olds, and three-year-old fillies in particular, often give G1 The Met (2000m) a miss because they were not favoured by the race conditions, but one can shine in the 2023 edition at Kenilworth.
